How my attendance/participation will contribute to my educational experience:
I had the pleasure of attending the URI Conference three years ago and it really broadened my horizon. I am in urban forestry and it was great to learn about all the research that has been going on within urban/rural areas and how urbanization affects every aspect of science and every day life. I met many people who work in interesting fields and positions and I am looking forward to learning more about current issues within our living environment. It is more important than ever to include every aspect related as every aspect affect the environment. It is good to see many different disciplines involved, just as it should be.
