How my attendance/participation will contribute to my educational experience:
As a student in the Interdisciplinary PhD Program in Urban Design and Planning, the topic of this conference could not fit my research interests any better! I am excited to collaborate and network with other researchers at conference that are advancing our knowledge about how to make urban centers more resilient and sustainable. The opportunity to receive feedback on my research during the poster session from a diverse group of scientists and practitioners is invaluable.
Title and authors of my oral/poster proposed for conference:
Vegetation patterns in an urbanizing metropolitan area: socio-economic drivers and effects on carbon storage and water flows
